Remotely Brilliant: How do you increase productivity?

Remotely Brilliant: How do you increase productivity?

How do you increase interactivity - and avoid rabbitting on at your?audience - when presenting in Teams or Zoom?

This is one of the most popular questions we get asked?in our Remote Presentation Skills?workshops – and it’s a great one, because increased interactivity equals more energy which equals more focus which results in better communications all round.

In your meetings, you can look for hidden opportunities for interaction, for example:??

  • When presenting a lot of numbers to people in a weekly update don’t do all the work for them - make them think!
  • Create a few chances for them to guess a missing number, do a quick quiz on percentage changes or create some ‘higher’ or ‘lower’ jeopardy on a series of numbers you are about to share.
  • When you have multiple?topics to cover in your presentation, poll the audience to find out which they’d like you to start with - this ensures they’re as receptive as possible to what you’re about to say.
  • And of course we would say, there's always time for a brain booster - if you need some inspiration check out the download at the bottom of this newsletter!

By injecting just a bit of interaction every now again you will engage brains more fully and help the information cut through and stick with your audience.
