Remote Work and Productivity is a Winning Combination

Remote Work and Productivity is a Winning Combination

Doctor Gleb Tsipursky runs a headline on Forbes:

"Workers are less productive working remotely (at least that’s what their bosses think)"

In fact, work-from-home is a boost to weary employees. Statistical data derived from various surveys support the stance that working from home significantly improved the performance of workers. A survey by ConnectSolutions evaluated 77% of remote workers with 30% doing more work in less time and 24% doing more work in the same period of time. They are 53% more focused on their projects compared to onsite work. With such an amazing output, it is clear that working from home increases worker’s productivity and efficiency to complete the project.

Why is the percentage of efficiency of remote workers high as compared to onsite workers? There are several good reasons behind this.

Remote workers are working more.

As compared to onsite workers and employees, remote workers are doing more than usual. This is because they are able to manage their work according to the routine. They deeply understand their productive hours and the hours at which they need to rest. There is no boss on the head who would stop a worker from a quick catnap. Work from home is flexible and can be customized easily according to the routine. With such continuous recharging,? the National Bureau of Economic Researches concludes that remote workers work 48.5 minutes longer on an average daily basis. Well, that means 193 additional working hours a year!

Working from home means zero OFFICE POLITICS and less workplace stress.

In an office, where gossip about your boss, a fellow employee, and your next desk worker distracts you, workspace norms are enough to give you shots of stress. The term Office Politics is often used for these distractions. As an office worker, you will know how stressful and dreary it is. Working from home means a quiet, serene, controlled, and effective work atmosphere.

Nitro Study that has worked on trends in reducing workplace stress reveals that 29% of remote respondents said they were moderately stressed at work, down from 33% in 2019 when office work was the norm.

As a company owner, you are at ease while recruiting:

Working from home is a two-way blessing. Workers enjoy personal space, flexibility, fewer distractions, and zero office politics, nonetheless, it offers facilitations to the recruiters too. They are not only recruiting from their own personal spaces with convenience, but also they get remote workers who are more suited to the job as compared to the employees living nearby the company. When there is no geographical limit to apply,? said Pryor of Trello, “you get more qualified candidates.

Let’s save the commuting costs and invest them in our body health.

Commuting is such a big issue for the dwellers of congested cities. Tearing the breast of heavy traffic, getting over several hysteric attacks on the way, eyeing wristwatches, and stressing brains suck almost half of the energy of an average worker. FlexJobs survey reveals that Americans who work remotely can save $4500 annually. Saving commute time and costs is a direct boost to productivity.

Work and enjoy your life:

Remote workers are no doubt on the winning side. Once they are done with the project, they just turn on fun mode.

Remote workers, according to Forbes, are deeply focused because their work is just like their personal life. They enjoy relaxingly, spend quality time with their families, listen to music while working, go to the gym, schedule breaks according to their level of energies and find time to practice mindfulness.?

?In addition, work-from-home is a guarantee to better health, a planned life, enhanced focus, and a strong sense of responsibility for employees. After all, all the great names have worked in their homes and under their own supervision.

"Quality means doing it right when no one is looking.” – Henry Ford.
