Remote Java Engineer
DataArt is an IT company that designs, develops, and supports software solutions. We have more than 4000 colleagues in 22 locations in the US, Europe, and Latin America.
We are looking for a Java Engineer to join us in any location or remote.
About the project:
Our client is a big online retailer with yearly revenue of £1 billion.
We have a long history of relationships and over the years have helped this customer to maintain and develop a data warehouse (data sourcing, ELT, and business intelligence), web portals and mobile apps, delivery control systems, staff management tools, etc.
The project goal is an improvement of existing fulfillment and supply chain solution. The codebase - java 11, SpringBoot, managed AWS storages - Postgres, DynamoDB, GCP BigQuery, AWS SNS/SQS. We are looking for one more engineer to join us.
About the team:
We have 2 Senior Engineers in the team now, we are looking for one more to join us. Our team members use Russian and English to communicate with the client. The team is distributed.
You offer:
- Your experience and matureness - there is no clear process to follow, we expect you to define prioritize and estimate tasks
- You’re a people person with the ability to communicate effectively among and between stakeholder groups
- Your significant coding skills in Java, with other languages being a major plus
Would be a plus:
- Knowledge of AWS
Responsibilities:
Adjust internal shared libraries and tools
Help teams across to migrate to new solutions
If needed provide an additional Separation Layer so teams can focus on their current work in the same time separation requirements will be fulfilled.

(We focus on 14000-18000netto +VAT PLN for middle/senior and paid vacations 26 days) - but we are very open negotiate the rate.
