Reminiscing, Reflecting, and Refocusing
Tis the season, right?
Also running!
Because that’s my thing!!!
As we draw to the close of another year, I’ve been reading through some of my journals from the past couple of years...
Here are a number of things I learned about myself as a plan for a whole new chapter. ??
? I need to infuse more ‘colour’ into my professional world to better reflect my true personality.?
? I truly preach the idea of “double down” because I doubled in more ways than one during the pandemic. On my personal/professional development (as evidenced by the fact that more than half of my journals have been filled up throughout the pandemic)
? I am reminded that in every obstacle there exists an opportunity - stop, observe, and listen ?? to uncover the gift
? I have much to be grateful for - including you, loyal members of my community!
THANK YOU.
What about you - Self Made Nation?
What have you learned about yourself in 2022?
Give it some thought.
And give yourself some time to reflect in the busy holiday season ahead!
Please help me get the ‘running’ word out???
As you probably know from reading this column, I find running helps me make better decisions. (and music is my constant companion as I run!! ?? )
No matter how hard a run may be, I always feel inspired afterwards.
So I’m sharing my thoughts in this weekly series called ‘Running Reflections’.?
If you could pass this on to a peer who might appreciate a short piece of content that delivers core business lessons in a lateral thinking format, I would be grateful.
Have a spectacular holiday season!
TTFN (ta-ta for now)

2 年on the docket for me in 2023 is to run a 5k - in June about to register for that event. Keep in mind I hate running, strength training is my jam, but this is something I wouldn't normally have done. So I thought let's do it.
