Sparkle Insight ??

I reconnected with an old friend today who recently became a dad. I'm a daddy's girl, so naturally, I LOVE asking the question, "What's your favorite part about being a dad?" I always get to hear my dad's amazing answers, so it's enlightening to hear others' too.

My friend casually responded with the most profound wisdom of all time:

"The miracle that 2 people can come together to create another human being who has the combined DNA of those 2 people is absolutely mind-blowing and I’m in awe of that all the time. The fact that he’s not just another human but an actual descendant of me and my wife is so inspiring and meaningful. I am still sort of grappling with the reality of that- sometimes I don’t really believe I’m his dad and I’m just charged with taking care of this baby, I think just because it just feels like too much of a miracle to be real."

I mean gee whizzzz, I'm still finding the right words to respond to him LOL. I'm going to tell him he was the inspo for today's newsletter - that's how big of an impact what he shared had on me. That feels suiting.

We feel such awe and wonder when we see a newborn baby. We marvel at their tiny fingers, their innocent eyes, and the sheer miracle of their existence. We even created a term we use so commonly when a baby is born: "the miracle of life."

Perhaps the fresh, new, innocent, untouched newborn life is a reminder of infinite possibilities and the boundless potential of life. We remember it right then and there as we hold our squishy chonky little babies and watch them grow.

Yet, as we grow older ourselves, the challenges of life can make us forget that we, too, are walking, living, breathing miracles.

The pressures of daily responsibilities, the need to meet deadlines, and the struggle to balance work, life, and all the other hats we wear can easily disconnect us from our inner sparkle—?the one that came with us at birth. We become so focused on what we need to do that we forget who we truly are.

But here’s a gentle reminder: you are still that miracle. *cue my mushy gushy Care Bear tears

Your essence, your creativity, your magic, your unique sparkle— all of it is still in there, waiting to be celebrated and shared with the world.

Embracing the miracle that we are means recognizing and honoring our true selves. It means remembering that despite the hardships and challenges, we are beings of infinite potential and magic no matter how hard the season of life is.

When we reconnect with this truth, we unlock a well of creativity, joy, and inspiration that can transform not only our own lives but also the lives of those around us. (Remember: Sparkle Supernova Effect)

So, how do we remind ourselves of the miracle that we are? It starts with self-compassion and self-acknowledgment. Take a moment to appreciate your journey, your strengths, and the unique qualities that make you who you are. Celebrate your achievements, no matter how small, and remember that you have a light that no one else has that the world needs.

Sparkle Tip ?

This week, commit to reminding yourself of the sparkling miracle that you are. Here’s a simple yet powerful exercise to help you reconnect with your inner magic:

  1. Morning Miracle Affirmations: Start your day by looking in the mirror and speaking words of affirmation to yourself. Say things like, “I am a miracle,” “I have infinite magic and sparkle inside me,” and “I am capable of amazing things.” It might feel silly, but words shape our entire belief system. Feed your brain new words, and it will begin to spit out new thoughts, beliefs, actions, and even a whole new reality.
  2. Celebrate Small Wins: We're always celebrating the big wins, and forget to celebrate the small wins which make up much much more than the big ones. Keep a journal handy, or a notes app on your phone, where you can quickly jot down your small wins. Something as small as "I felt a bit more energetic today than I did yesterday," MATTERS. Small things compound into big things.
  3. Commit to 1 Joy Activity: Identify an activity that brings you pure joy and make time for it this week. Whether it’s dancing, painting, reading, or spending time in nature, allow yourself to indulge in moments of happiness and wonder. Even if it's for only 10 minutes, it can make a world of difference.

Have a Sparkly Sunday, peeps! ??

I read your newsletter for the first time today. I had never thought about taking time to celebrate "small wins." While I am no stranger to the creation and purpose of a vision board, I never saw the need to speak positive affirmations to myself aloud while staring into a mirror. It sounds both a little silly and a little scarry at the same time. But, I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks for the tips. Much appreciated. By the way, I also have both a newsletter and a Linkedin Group - both known as "The Better Together Approach." I cordially invite you to connect with me and become involved with them. Lamar Morgan
