Reminder: don't grow up...

I'm interrupting today's 261 newsletter with a special reminder—don't grow up.

Let me explain:

Leading is a tough, lonely job. And we often get told that we need to "grow up" if we want to grow our business.

More rules. More protocol. More control.?

I disagree.

Renegade-Founders have a unique skill set to bring to their organizations. It's not about growing up. It's about shifting our thinking. Here's a reminder straight out of my new book, Renegades: Break Rules Find Freedom. (A Book for Founders) to help you remember how key your unique style of leadership?is to your organization.

Renegades are well-loved for their “genius” and “out of the box” thinking. Their willingness to not fit?in is intriguing and magnetic. They are usually self-appointed leaders—people who don’t have time or patience for raises and promotions doled out by someone else. They are very often natural-born entrepreneurs or disgruntled employees who believe they can do it all better than the boss (and they are probably right). If you are the Renegade, you get it. You have the ability to see more than what’s in front of you and you’re built to chase down possibility... The truth is, you’re the linchpin in the organization. There is nowhere near the forward motion, innovation, clarity of vision, or depth of soul than what lies within you.?

Renegades, I believe this book will help you not only feel understood, but give you real, practical ways to empower your team and find more of the freedom you want for yourself as the business grows. If you found this reminder?helpful—check out the book on Amazon. ?
