Reminder: Autopilot Co-Management/CM client install during Pre-provisioning is not supported #Iwork4Dell

Danny Guillory Jr posted an update to the recent Co-Management Setting feature in Intune under Enroll Devices. As stated in the post, this setting can be used to deploy the CM client to existing Intune enrolled devices (and optionally bootstrap a task sequence), or have the client deployed via Autopilot provisioning thanks the new enhancement with the Enrollment Status Page.

However, when evaluating the use cases, keep in mind limitations per the documentation:

• Azure AD Hybrid Join scenario is not supported
• Pre-provisioning is not supported
• Just like you shouldn't mix LOB and Win32 apps, you shouldn't mix the CM Client install and Win32/PowerShell scripts which leverage the Intune Management Extension (IME) because it doesn't coordinate with the provider for the CM Client install.
