Ahilya Bai Holkar was a great ruler - she was also a very philanthropic person. She established many Dharmshalas, temples and public institutions. It is time to remember her because she installed a very good public administration system. Instead of spending money on luxury, she spent the money for the benefit of the common people.
During a time, when it was very difficult for ladies to take on public leadership, she gave an amazing leadership and set an example of how to lead public administration. Her contribution should always inspire every girl to be bold and philanthropic in administration.
