Something quite exciting is happening at Bolton station and bus interchange on Saturday June 30th. A community gala marks the 50th anniversary of the closure of the steam loco shed at Crescent Road. But it's also about promoting public transport today - and in the future. There's stalls and music which reflect Bolton's vibrant and diverse communities, a miniature railway, live music and theatre, vintage bus rides and lots more.
