Remember Me For What?
While driving the other day, I began to wonder.?What is my legacy going to be??Will I be remembered for my accomplishments as an arts educator or in my entertainment endeavors??Will future generations consider the earthly possessions I acquired and remember me for that??Will my community recall the contributions I made through civic and charitable organizations??Will my name live on through my children by the life that they live? Did I, in some meaningful way, make the world a better place?
?
I must admit, it would be nice to be remembered for something.?What is my legacy going to be??How about yours?
?
I do know one thing.?Our legacies are not just something that is created after we are dead and gone.?No, they are being formed daily through the choices we make right now, the passions we pursue, the life we live, and the character we develop.
?
What are my priorities??What do I drive myself to accomplish every day??What is the goal I seek to reach before my time expires??Maybe through these answers, we can begin to see our legacies.
My legacy.?My own masterpiece left for the entire world to see.?
“What we are remembered for tomorrow lies in what we are focused on today.”

1 年I hope my legacy will be that I lived up to my name and that I helped people who felt ordinary or less than ordinary discover just how extraordinarily they really are!! In the words of Maya Angelou, “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people may forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel!”??????
