Instagram Chief Reiterates That Sends Are Now a Key Focus - Andrew Hutchinson?at

?? CM Rx: Back in May, Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, noted that share rates were a key driver of reach on the platform. Last week, he reiterated that creators (and brands alike) should be focusing on?how to make their content more share-worthy.

Mosseri stated that more users are engaging within Instagram DMs than on in-feed posts. With this, the platform is now seeking to amplify content that inspires more users to smash the "Send" icon and forward it to their friends & family. This falls in line with the platform testing new share counts on posts in-feed as well.

It goes without saying that all content should be share-worthy, whether Instagram is pushing for it or not. Invoking users to share your content builds trust and credibility, increases brand awareness, and can even drive sales. Almost everything in social comes back to content being not only relatable but genuine. The more relatable your brand can be, the more there'll be a chance of an emotional response, increasing the urge to share.?

Brat (wurst) summer, am I right?

Charli XCX's sixth album, Brat, has seen wild success over the last few weeks. So much so fans have declared the summer of 2024 "Brat Summer." Plant-based sausage brand Field Roast wasted no time jumping in on the buzz.

To kick off their campaign, they posted a picture of their sausages in a wrapper modeled after the very recognizable (and frankly iconic) neon green and black Brat album cover on Instagram and Facebook. They tagged Charli in the copy asking?“Is this what you meant when you said it’s a brat summer?” They also changed their profile picture on Instagram as well.

Knowing the album would most definitely be playing non-stop, Field House?placed a billboard in Toronto's Yonge-Dundas Square during Pride weekend. The billboard?shows the Brat album design on one side with the other side saying "wurst" with their smoked apple and sage sausage in its matching lime packaging.

What an amazing activation across the board. Who knew the pronunciation of brat could hold so much value?
