X rolls out its real-time search tool, Radar, to Premium+ subscribers – Sarah Perez at TechCrunch | Image via X

?? CM Rx: X has introduced a real-time search tool called "Radar," available to Premium+ subscribers. This tool enhances the search functionality by providing real-time results, allowing users to stay updated on live conversations and trending topics as they happen. Radar's release is part of X's broader effort to improve the user experience for paying subscribers, giving them more powerful tools for discovering content and engaging with current events.?

This feature adds value to X's premium subscription service, helping the platform stand out from competitors like Threads and Bluesky. It offers brands and marketers real-time insights to track mentions, trends, and public sentiment. Additionally, Radar supports X's monetization strategy by offering exclusive tools that encourage more users to upgrade, boosting subscription revenue.

IMHO, however, it just feels like another money grab. It's been over a year since Musk took over the platform and as we know, it's not looking so hot. It's hard to be positive about this when he's limiting privacy.?

?? Spotlight: Vans

It's 'Damn Daniel' with the Vans all over again. ??

ESPN's College GameDay is a pre-game show broadcast that takes place every Saturday morning during college football season. During the show, one of the hosts,?Pat McAfee, holds a kicking contest where contestants have to kick a field goal. More often than not, contestants miss the field goal but that changed two weeks ago when?Daniel Villasenor made it through?the uprights on his second attempt winning $100k... sporting a pair of Vans Slip-Ons.

The comments on the College GameDay TikTok?popped off, tagging @Vans multiple times saying they should sponsor Daniel. This is why having an always-on approach to social listening is so important: Vans reached out and got ahold of Daniel!?Vans was able to make a custom pair of Vans Slip-On cleats for?Villasenor (which is so insanely smart and cool) to continue his side hustle of winning field goal contests. Daniel and Vans have challenged Jason Kelce to kick a field goal in a pair of Timberland boots, they'll match the?100k donation to the hurricane relief fund.

It goes without saying how important it is to be fast-moving in these types of situations. Vans listened, reached out, got ahold of Daniel, and created a pair of custom cleats in a matter of two weeks. ????
