Pioneering Electrical Training for Data Center Professionals?

Data centers, which house vast amounts of computing and storage infrastructure, are essential for powering the digital world, but their electricity consumption is significant. These facilities require enormous amounts of energy to operate servers, manage data traffic, and cool equipment, leading to high electricity usage. As the demand for cloud services, streaming, and data processing grows, data centers are becoming one of the largest energy consumers globally along with the immense need for electrical professionals equipped to maintain and operate these facilities.?

RelyOn – in partnership with a global web services company – took a new and exciting step forward in the development of our electrical training services. ?

In the UK, we have developed a Medium Voltage Operator training course for their growing team of electrical Data Centre professionals, which resulted in a comprehensive programme combining our ground-breaking adaptive learning technology, with practical scenario-based training. Our electrical team in Teesside welcomed our client’s personnel from across Europe whose remit was to run through, discuss and feedback on the content of the proposed course. Delighted to welcome our first external customers to our UK Electrical Training Centre of Excellence, which is located within Redcar & Cleveland College . We’ll be officially opening the facility and announcing training options in due course.?

This was the first of 3 planned pilot courses,?the second of which taking place at our flagship training facility at RelyOn (DK) in Esbjerg, Denmark. A special call-out to senior electrical professionals from Vattenfall , for inspecting the facility and sharing their valuable insights into moving toward a multi-country best practice standard for training in the wind industry.?
