Religion, Kant, Philosophy

Kant devoted his life to searching for something beyond rational thought. His most famous manuscript is the Critique of pure reason.

Here he observes, contrary to liberal thought of the time, that posteriori knowledge is not sufficient. There is evidence of a-priori knowledge, which exists apart from experience.

He struggles with the source of this a-priori knowledge

Side bar:

we can see clearly this a-priori knowledge that exists in the animal kingdom. a mother instructively knows how to care for her young. A new born knows, with out instruction, to take nourishment.

One of the chiefest obstacles for atheists is the fact that God is invisible. Of course, God is a spirit and spiritual things can not be seen, therefore, one is tempted to say, "this does not exist".

The forest for the trees:

however, Kant dug down to the root of the issue, even if he failed to fully appreciate what true religion is, This is because satan has cop-opted religious concepts, since the church is satans battleground.

Man is a tri-une being, He is physical, he has a mind by which he interprets his world that he exists in and he has a Spirit with which he understands his place in existence.

A man may chose either light or dark for his spiritual union to his mind and body. if that in you be Light, how great is that Light, but if it be darkness then that darkness is black indeed.

Scripture is a book about the spiritual, physical and mental essence of man, The mental actuality which contains a-priori and posteriori knowledge and the inner man which is how man interprets the knowledge he has (here is mans choice that which he chooses to make for himself ), and the spiritual (here is what man chooses to unite with) this comprises mans soul; it is eternal,. since the spiritual is invisible, it is explained with physical emblems . Make no mistake, these emblems are as real as are the spiritual truths they represent.

"though you be dead and Hear the Sound off My Voice, yet shall you live.

or "though you be filled with darkness, if you hear my voice, the darkness will be cast out and you will be filled with light, for light casts out darkness, Jesus said " ? AM the Light." the emblem... men and woemen raised even from physical death both in Jesus time and also today. Because spirirtual things must manifest physically and physical things will manifest spiritually. as you choose darkness so you chose death. So choose Life, reject darkness and so you chose life and that more abundantly.

As an example; There are miracle of dead restored to life, because both emblem and reality is true. but you must have eyes that see in order to understand the link between these things, which is physical, spiritual and mental.

Scripture itself addresses this issue. When the question was posed in scripture .

In response to Jesus " I am the way and the Truth and the life and no one proceeds to the Father but through Me" to which the response is... "well that hardly seems fair, what about those born before Jesus or who never heard of Him, surely God would not condemn them to hell"?

Do you know the answer to this question in scripture?, It will surprise you, but not in the way you first think""

"they are without excuse.""

WHAT ?

Yes. they are without excuse because God has revealed Himself through His Creation.

It is Gods will that all should be saved and non should be lost, and so He reveals Himself to every man and woman, each chooses whether to accept God or reject Him. Those who turn away from God, but rather choose their own way, which is the sin of satan and of Adam and Eve, these shall never enter the Kingdom of Heaven, it is not possible, because they have choosen darkness rather than light, the world rather than God" If these were to be admitted to Heaven, they would immediately take this darkness into Heaven, and so they go to the place they have chosen for themselves. It is very sad, because hell was not made for man, but rather for satan and his demons who rebelled against God. However, if a man or woman rebel against God and choose darkness, then he can not be allowed into Heaven and so must go to a place of eternal darkness. What they sadly do not realize, is that hell was never made for man, it was made for satan and his fallen angels. these will torment men and women who go there for all eternity, it will be far different than a self fulfilled life on earth.

What must you do ? Ask God to open you eyes so that you may see. you can not get to Him by yourself, you have been given free will, you must ask Him for help, should you feel conviction and should you fear hell. Fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom .

Then ask Him to open your eyes so that you may see spiritual things and open your ears so that you may hear spiritual words. Do as the good thief did:

"Lord remember me when you come into your Kingdom"

to which Jesus responded on His cross as he paid for the sins of the Good thief with his own Blood:

Verily verily i say unto you, this day thou shalt be with me in Paradise.

it is so simple, a child (and only a child) can understand it.

if you should ask "seek and ye shall find, ask and the door shall be opened"", then you must intercede for others, even those you lovce who have passed, since with God all things are possible, Jesus can appear to your loved one in the instant before death as He did for the good thief on the cross next to Him. Do not underestimate the Power of God, no matter what the secular church tells you, you read scripture, meditate on it, pray without ceasing and find life and that more abundant

PS,

I have studied theology for many years in thousands of very old books written by Christians in times past when there was a strong outpouring of the Holy Spirit, when Christianity in some men was untainted by the world views, I pray without ceasing, but i have no letters after my name, other one who struggles to follow Jesus, Only begotten Son of God.

An excellent piece and Kant is probably one of the best thinkers of philosophy. I will consider that God created faith, man created religion. As to God being invisible? We humans see a minute amount of the energy spectrum and understand even less. That is though where we focus to see God. If you look at the order, uniqueness of all the is around us it’s pretty obvious that he is right here beside and in us.
