Reliability & Commitment

Reliability & Commitment

#Our company has selected Reliability & Commitment as a Core Value. We define this as:

Our pledge to work diligently regardless of the obstacle while maintaining excellence in quality and performance. Providing trust and dedication to our company, our colleagues, our partners, and our clients.

Listed below are three Valued Behaviors associated with Respect & Fairness. Valued behaviors are observable and describe what the value looks like in action.

Valued Behavior 1: I have a positive attitude and focus on what I can do, rather than the obstacles that may be in the way.

It can be easy to feel overwhelmed by the task in front of you at times. When that happens, take control of the situation by assessing what you are able to handle on your own and working on those items. Have faith in your ability to solve problems, and use your resources to resolve items needing additional assistance. This will increase your confidence and allow you to have a positive approach.

Valued Behavior 2: I continue working projects until they are completed.

Some projects have a paradoxical way of dragging on when they are almost finished. Find fortitude to stick it out and see things through to completion. One trick is to not allow yourself to start a new item until you are done with what is in front of you.

Valued Behavior 3: I follow through on what was discussed and promised.

Make sure that you deliver what was discussed and deliver it on time. If, for any reason, you are unable to, communicate with stakeholders and reset the expectation. Then, continue to follow up until it is completed. For extra polish, follow up a short time after the project is done to inquire how things are going; this lets the other parties know that you are committed to success.

What are some examples you’ve seen for delivering Reliability and Commitment?
