Released at Innotrans - Rail certified power systems from Enedo Power

Enedo has recently launched at Innotrans 2024 Berlin a new 12kW modular AC/DC Converter system for rolling stock applications, BCS11120. ? BCS1120 Battery Charging System is a 400VAC/110VDC rack assembly containing two 6kW AC/DC (converters operating in parallel mode). It acts as a single battery charging system and communicates with vehicle via Rack Controller TRDP -interface. The BCS11120 contains battery management functionalities for monitoring battery cell voltages, charging / discharging current and temperature. The BCS11120 is part of a modular battery charger system family, which allows the number of AC/DC converters to vary depending on the project’s needs. For rail track side applications OPUS HE backup power systems with NO FAN architecture, 97% efficiency, n+1 redundancy, 5 Year warranty and Rail Certification is the most reliable and the lowest life time cost backup solution for the rail network owner. OPUS system MHE rectifiers can support all typical DC backup voltages 24/48/60/110/125/220VDC and DAC60000 inverters can convert secured DC voltage for 230V or 400V AC loads. Power systems are configurable from 1.5kW rack or wall cabinet solution up 80kW cabinet power systems.

Enedo OPUS DC and AC power system modules are now compliant with harmonized European standards for Rail track side applications. MHE Rectifiers, DAC60000 inverters and VIDI2 controller platform has been tested and certified in TüV SüD Rail GmbH laboratory. A long-term backup power solution, with global certifications the lifecycle of the Enedo power system modules is expected to continue until year 2035 or longer. On top of rail certifications systems are CB certified and modules have CE and EAC marking. Additionally, MHE rectifiers have UL and CSA marking.
