Relax and Enjoy your Cup of Coffee!

Wish you all A very Happy New Year! With festive vibes all around us, I am back once again to share some?pearls from my collection of wealth wisdom.

Last week, something very interesting happened. Five of us (my college friends) decided to visit our professor. When we were in college, Sir made Finance interesting for us!?

Sir was very glad to see us. As we were recollecting old memories, he went to the kitchen to make coffee?for us.?

Soon, he came back with a set of expensive and trendy cups and a kettle. There was just one simple?cup.?

Sir asked us to select cups for ourselves and serve coffee.?

We tried to grab the best cup for ourselves. Only Suresh picked up the simple cup.?

Sir was amused. He asked the four of us, “ How’s the coffee?”

“Brilliant, Sir!” We all agreed.?

He then turned to Suresh- “Well, my boy, how’s the coffee?”?

“Perfect Sir”.

“Thank you all. I am happy you liked the coffee. But did you all notice something?”?

“What Sir?”, we all asked.?

“You all rushed to grab the most attractive cup. Do you think that selecting an attractive cup will add?something special to the taste of the coffee?”

In a flash, we realised our mistake.?

Sir smiled, “Financial security is just like a cup of hot coffee. It’s not the cup that makes the coffee?special but the way you drink it!?If you rush, you will never enjoy it’s rich aroma. For that, you need to relax and relish the taste!?

Similarly, if you rush to grab trendy stocks and shares that promise instant?rewards, you will never be a successful investor. For that, you need the patience to stay invested for a?long period.”
