Relax

Relax

When we told my four-and-a-half year old granddaughter that we were going to the beach, she excitedly said, "that's great, I will teach you how to relax!" And, sure enough, when we arrived at the beach she took my hand and shared these steps: First, you find a spot in the sand that is scooped out (you can scoop it out some more if you need to); then you sit down and lean back on your elbows (you can lay all the way back into the sand if you want); and then you relax! I asked her what you think about while you sit there. Her response was "Nothing. You don't think about anything." It turns out she has a good formula.
