Relationships Are Based On Commitments

The topic under discussion is about that our relationships are based on commitments. To begin with I would like to challenge you to think of one utmost accomplishment in your life that was not the result of making a primary commitment to someone. I doubt that you will find the number is very small. Well you see that making and keeping commitments are foundational in our lives and especially in a relationship. Commitment simply means the quality of being dedicated and its extremely important and powerful. I say its powerful because they influence how think, sound and act which then feeds the perception engine of what others think about you. Moreover, if you'll approach someone in a halfhearted hope or manner, the perception that you would be generating will definitely not be in your favor.

Now,if we talk about the true meaning of commitment in a relationship, well trust me there is no rocket science to it. True commitment simply means that you are trying harder as commitment is an act not a word, that your looking for solutions when faced by problems and you don't consider quitting as an option.

However, there are two aspects of a relationship in a persons life. First begin the relationship you acquire since your birth such as being a son, daughter, brother, sister and likewise. The second the relationship you opt for yourself. Lets take for example being someones friend, husband or wife. The reason to highlight these aspects is to tell you that the relationship that we opt for ourselves require more commitment on both ends. commitment in its essence being stead fast in your role and firm your decision because anything that you'll do will affect the relationship. Hence, one should set a side a list of principles to certain relationships and should abide by them to stay committed.

Although commitment is not dependent on relationship but relationship is dependent on commitment. They are just a set of rules that you make for yourself to comply. In retrospect if you look at the past generation and its people, we can see them share this distinct characteristic. Those people were true care givers and providers for the family and it was their commitment which lead to our present world we live in today.

In addition, you need to understand that commitment is the only way you can enjoy a relationship with someone because it will show the real you and your true care for the other person. In fact when you are committed to people who are truly important to you, the result are that your relationship will improve and you'll be more successful in achieving your goals.

Now on the other hand if we say that if relationships are not based on commitments then the relationships are devastated very badly. To reason my point, if there is no pillar or foundation on which it is built then how can it prevail for long? We can see the results in the form of broken marriages, children disowning their parents, breakups and friends parting ways. Not only this as the social life of an individual becomes imbalanced its not not too late that the personal life is affected as well as person starts to facing depression, anxiety, dissatisfaction, constant overthinking. Moreover according to a recent study it is said that majority of the youth take towards intoxicants after a separation or after a relationship breakup. Suicides are another big issue regarding this. To conclude these points relationships without commitments have sever impact on people's lives.

To summarize, all in all its safe to say that commitment is foremost essential for any relationship. Hence, its the individual who gets to decide the ground rules for the commitments and live by it.
