I've joined George Stavros and his team as Pacesetter Technology 's new CMO and let me tell you - it's humbling to come full circle like this after 11 years.

I was lucky enough to meet George when he shared a desk next to mine at 110%. His idea was just taking off, and even then, his vision was BIG. Later, after the Ambidustrious agency was founded, we had the honor of helping him launch the beautiful brand you see today. I got to watch the team grow and eventually, I even got to help George prepare and deliver the kind of speech that changes industry trends. When that happened, I knew I was witnessing the beginning of something rare and special – a disruptive product, with an intentional culture strong enough to make it last - ?and thrive.

Sounds corny, but it's the truth: I'm part of the healthy workplace culture I’ve written about for decades. Everyday, across countless interactions I see a team that is accountable to each other, intentional with each other’s time, genuinely helping each other succeed, and incredibly comfortable giving and receiving feedback (and it's often funny). Honestly, this is refreshing.

For 11 years, George and his team have built the gold standard in custom mobile apps that create exceptional experiences for members of exclusive clubs. In fact, 334 of the best clubs in the world (and counting) have trusted this team with their brand. That’s big.

I’m here to help expand Pacesetter’s vision.

As CMO I’ll help amplify the Pacesetter brand, but also extend our philosophy. Pacesetter believes that every interaction is an opportunity to show people that they matter. This has always been at the heart of what Pacesetter does and now we’re going to translate this level of personal, attentive service beyond the private club space.

After spending decades developing brands and content in the HR tech space, I now get to help translate the luxury club experience to private employers, residential communities, and associations. The goal is simple: help these organizations treat their employees, residents, and associates with the same care, respect, and delight that private club members enjoy.

It makes sense too. Why should awesome experiences be exclusive to private clubs? Employers keep the best people when they make their workplaces not just productive, but also nurturing and inspiring. Residential communities thrive when they turn housing into connected communities that people are proud to call home. Associations grow when they foster a sense of community and shared purpose. These are all areas where Pacesetter’s unique technology can make a real difference.

Pacesetters believe that every interaction, no matter how small, is a chance to leave someone feeling valued. It took a lot to drag me out of the my sweatpants.. I mean remote freelancing. The truth is I never pictured myself back on a team or back in an actual office… but this office ya’ll – WOW.

I’ll finish by extending my deepest gratitude to everyone who has taught me something I'll bring on this journey. I needed those experiences with you – the good, the stressful, the wins and the fails – all of them.
