Relationship with Execution

A solid win in shifting times is understanding your personal relationship with effective execution. The bringing to life of our intentions and strategies.

Whether you're on a Board, at the Exec table, or leading a transformation initiative, you’ll inevitably be part of conversations about Strategy Execution. What I see less of, however, are discussions about OUR? relationship with execution within this organization.

It’s not about jargon or elaborate methodologies but returning to the fundamental maxim of execution: I do what I say, and I say what I do.?

WHAT IS YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THAT?

In the coming week, I suggest holding your assumptions and finding opportunities to test and experiment with this. Simple actions, such as:?

• Starting meetings on time,?
• Paying suppliers as agreed
• Reflecting on drifting actions from previous meetings, can reveal valuable insights.?
• Paying closer attention to the details that matter in execution.

By Zooming in, we can uncover lessons that help us Zoom out more effectively.
