Rejoice in the Small Beginnings

I woke up at 4:30 AM yesterday to prepare for an early morning call.

Usually, I'm fast asleep, wandering around the land of dreams at this time.

But I felt that I needed to be there, so I did.

And I'm happy I did because I received the words I needed.

One thing I love to share with you is the reminder to rejoice in the small beginnings.

Clearly, I needed some attitude correction.

I'm not sure if you can relate, but when you read inspirational stories and watch inspirational films, you root for and rejoice in the small beginnings.

It's romantic, like sweet poetry, and just warms your heart.

But living it out in real life is not quite the same.

It is the active choice to rejoice in the small beginnings. To celebrate the small wins. To make a big deal out of little progress.

Thank God for the reminder. I needed it. How about you? Are you celebrating the small stuff? How do you guard the joy in your heart?
