REJECTED CORNERSTONES

None of us can find the right words to express the pain behind rejection… the hurt behind our undone and unachieved desires in life.?

Besides the hurt, comprehending rejection and its experiences is about perspective! I'm using 3 simple words – FROM, THROUGH and FOR; which are the cornerstones that have personally helped me redirect my perspective.

Speaking in architectural terms, the cornerstone is the first stone laid for the construction of a building. It is the foundational stone marking the design and the direction of a building; every other stone is set in reference to the cornerstone.?

Today’s rejections are the cornerstones that carry tomorrow’s success!

Rejections are the References to tomorrow’s Beginnings?

The word 'FROM' refers to the point where your journey begins. Upgrade and advancement in life is stemmed FROM the life altering rejections we experience. Rejections are your reference stones from which you learn 2 life lessons?– what to do in the future and what not to do from the past. The reference stones shape your groundwork; give you the experience that teaches and creates beginnings. Cornerstones have the date marked on them, emphasizing the first day hope was set on the stone. Allow your rejections to be the reference stones that inspire your spirit into a vision. Rejections are meant to be the seeds that reinvent your attitude and frame of mind; and should foster the beginning of a challenging journey. Looking back, the origin of greatness has risen from a series of losses… those series of references are the cornerstones from which you learn, derive and grow.?

Rejections are Reconciliations with the Barriers?

The word 'THROUGH' refers to the path that your journey takes. Every rejection is an inner conflict and a mental battle THROUGH which you come one step closer to reconciling with your true purpose in life. It gives you yet another opportunity to deeply understand who you are meant to be, giving you the right course of direction. Aspiring needs a path, a path that compliments your rejections! Reconciling with the pain caused by rejection is a big part of the process… It means reconciling with the barriers and trials that test your limits; it is appreciating and coming to terms with the journey. Use your rejections to create a path that achieves past the pain! You cannot control the rejections that happen to you, but you can control what you make happen using them. The weight of a building rests on the cornerstone, how you build the design and the direction of the structure is on you. One has to reconcile with loss to leverage the path loss can put forward.

Rejections bring Relevance to the Beyond

The word ‘FOR’ refers to the purpose of your journey. Rejections are meant FOR learnings and triumphs that transcend the pain! The cornerstone carries all the other stones, and is responsible for the existence of a building. It takes a lot of passion and determination to turn your rejections into the cornerstones that carry your accomplishments. Rejections barely make sense at the time, and we constantly question its purpose… But rejections are what create a relationship to a purpose - driven life! They are meant to make sense in triumph –. when you realize that rejections happen because you were designed for a greater purpose beyond what you saw possible at the time. The purpose of rejection is for you to succeed the extraordinary and realize that you are meant for far more than the capacity you set for yourself, and for far more than the benchmarks you create for yourself. Part of honouring the purpose of your life is honouring the rejections that gave you the purpose and led you through the journey.?

Rejections are part of journeying you through the beginnings, barriers and the beyond. They are the cornerstones of excellence and can become the architects of your achievements depending on how you put them into perspective. Cornerstones are meant for a vision that goes beyond you, a vision that is meant to impact many beyond yourself...
