A rebrand is an opportunity to honor yourself while positioning you for the future .


Last month, Lapid was honored to host the great Kalekye Mumo , who not only shared about her personal rebrand but also the challenges that are involved in the journey. In a VUCA world?, authenticity is key yet it is met with so much hostility from your specific environment.?


This is because as a society we keep confirming to standards that are set on social media ,allowing it to define what is acceptable and what is not ."A MODERN WAY OF POLICING" Staying true to yourself can be hard, as anything worth pursuing in this life . It needs strategy and purpose to keep you going .

Here are three master techniques to keep you true ;

1. Identify your why. ?Why a rebrand??

2. End goal. What do I aim to achieve?

3. Keep the focus. You can tap into your human resources ( friends) to hold you accountable to the course.

PS : Rebranding is not easy but from the statistics of Fortune 500 companies its always worth it.


On the business perspective; rebranding is a process of changing an organization’s corporate image and messaging with the goal of improving the business – redeveloping the old brand into a new form that can stand out from competitors in the market.?

Since 1955 to 2017; of the original fortune 500 company list; only?60 companies have constituently been on the list. After being interviewed the secret was unanimous keep rebranding to maintain and grow your companies capacity. So if companies can make a resolve to rebrand while still staying true why not us as individuals?
