Reintroducing Remotion

If you've been following this newsletter, you might already know two things about me:

  1. I'm kind of a geek when it comes to LinkedIn Ads.
  2. In run an agency called Remotion.

For this month's newsletter, to celebrate the launch of our new brand idenity - I'm going to tell you a bit about who we are, what we do, how we do it, and what we're doing next.

How did I end up here?

Up until very recently, Remotion was me. Gabriel Ehrlich.

A mild-mannered B2B digital marketer from Tel Aviv.

I founded Remotion in 2016 - to be honest, at the time I didn't really have a long-term goal.

I was just happy to be doing work I enjoyed for clients I love working with.

Those first few years I got to work with some of the best B2B marketers I'd ever worked with.

People like Ilya, Omri and Gal from WalkMe.

People like Yam Regev at Webydo.

People like Udi Ledergor at Gong.

People like Lisa Bennet over at Kaltura.

And so many more.

Specializing in LinkedIn Ads above other digital channels seemed like an odd choice at the time, not many people were going in that direction and it was still considered a niche channel - but I liked it!

The success I was able to deliver for some of those key clients bought me a strong reputation, and I was able to establish a solid base of clients just from word-of-mouth.

In early 2019 I made a decision.

I would double down on LinkedIn, both in terms of posting on the platform, and in terms of positioning - and I'd build my business as a LinkedIn Ads Agency.

2020: The Year That Changed Everything, Forever

I started hiring in 2020, and in spite of Covid (or maybe because of it) we grew like mad.

By the end of the year, we'd grow to a team of 6 people, and over 20 active clients.

Growing the team so quickly over such a short period of time was tough - especially since I'd never done this before.

I had to define things like processes, values and culture - things I thought were just buzzwords before - so that I could train the next generation of LinkedIn Ads experts.

So, WTF Do We Actually Do?

There are two questions that come up a lot in calls with prospects:

  1. What do you guys do?
  2. What sets you apart?

What we do is actually simple.

We generate highly relevant B2B leads via LinkedIn Ads, with the primary objective of driving real-world business outcomes - meetings, Opportunities, pipeline and eventually customers!

How we do that is what sets us apart.

I've developed a series of tried and true best practices for everything from targeting, creative, ad copy, Landing Pages, ad types, budgeting, bidding, scaling up, scaling down, optimization.

I've also solved the same problem over and over again in the last 4.5 years.

When we start working with a client - we know what to do to get LinkedIn Ads to work.

We're transparent about it - we make sure our clients know what they're getting into.

And we're stubborn about it too - we make sure our clients stick to the plan.

I know how rare it is to actually build this machine - this revenue generation machine from LinkedIn Ads - for B2B tech companies targeting Enterprises - it's rare and majestic and we know how to do it.

Where do we go from here?

Very simply, we are on a mission to build the best damn LinkedIn Advertising Agency in the world.

That means the best people, the best clients, the best results.

We are not letting up on the growth rate - and plan to double our headcount this year.

We'll continue working with amazing clients - and we'll do it all over the world.

From the US to the UK, to Europe and Asia - we're coming for your LinkedIn accounts - and we know what to do with them.

About the new brand:

I wanted something that represented not just where we are right now - but where we plan to be in a couple of years.

I wanted to use bright colors - and plenty of them.

I also wanted to break the mold of logos and brand identies that agencies use that are mostly just "more of the same".
