The Early Days: From Accounting to Tech

My professional journey began in the world of numbers. With both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Accounting, I honed my skills in financial management, analysis, and reporting. As the Financial Secretary of Graceland Estate, I managed finances and ensured compliance. However, my passion for technology led me to explore new horizons beyond accounting.

Embracing Technology: Software Engineering

Driven by curiosity, I transitioned into software engineering. Currently, I’m interning at JamorT, contributing to building the JamorT website. During my time at alx_africa , I functioned as a frontend developer for the MediQuest App, a health checker application developed as the final project for the ALX Africa full stack engineering program. This project not only showcased my technical skills but also reinforced my belief in the transformative power of technology. I specialize in full-stack development, particularly in frontend technologies like React, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, always committed to writing clean, efficient code and solving complex problems.

Designing the Future: Product Design

My journey then led me to the world of product design. For the EntryLevel UX designer program, I designed a solo travel app, creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces with Figma. This experience highlighted the importance of integrating creativity with technology to enhance user experiences. My skills in user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing have been crucial in my design endeavors.

Diving into Data: Data Science

Currently, I am expanding my expertise in data science. I completed the AICE (Artificial Intelligence Career Essentials) program with alx_africa , where I learned about Generative AI, its potential, and limitations. I explored various AI tools for content creation, such as Haiper for text-to-video and Runway for photo and text-to-video, and mastered the art of prompt engineering. This program equipped me with skills in data analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling, using Python to derive insights from data.

A Life of Art: Visual Artist

My passion for visual arts has always been a significant part of my life. I continually create beautiful drawings and paintings, exploring various mediums like oil, mixed media, and charcoal. This artistic side complements my technical skills, allowing me to bring a unique perspective to every project. Infusing creativity into my professional endeavors has been a constant source of inspiration and innovation.

Beyond my professional endeavors, I am someone who loves comedy and enjoys attending comedy events. I find joy in swimming, playing football, and working out.
