It was wonderful to cohost a conversation on rethinking the future of care with Kat McDavitt that featured?diverse healthcare leaders discussing significant transformations in healthcare delivery. He outlines a scenario where home-monitored data, such as blood pressure readings, is automatically incorporated into a patient's EMR, enhancing both patient management and provider efficiency.?
  • Dr. K.?spoke about UC Davis Health’s Digital Collab as a hub for digital health innovation, aiming to extend healthcare beyond hospital walls to improve accessibility and equity, especially for remote and underserved populations.?He discussed the potential for logistics and automation to enhance human interaction in healthcare, not replace it. He argues for using technology to automate routine tasks and data management, freeing up healthcare professionals to focus more on patient interaction and personalized care.?

She spoke about KPIs that agencies like Medicaid and public health department have set, and the feedback loop with the patient population in rural areas.?
  • Niken explained the concept of "service resolution intelligence," using AI and NLP to enhance healthcare delivery and operational efficiency by providing precise, predictive analytics and solutions that keep critical medical devices working. He?points out the behind-the-scenes complexities that patients never see but significantly affect their care experience. He emphasizes the importance of seamless integration of services and proactive patient engagement to improve healthcare delivery.?
  • Mike?described ServiceNow’s contribution to healthcare by leveraging the technology to improve coordination and efficiency across healthcare systems, emphasizing the importance of integrated care solutions.?Mike along with Ben discuss the need for healthcare systems, both old and new, to integrate effectively to improve patient and provider experiences. They emphasize that data from home healthcare should be integrated with traditional medical records to provide comprehensive patient profiles and continuous care quality.?
