TODAY we have the ability to have robot driven algorithms sift through mountains of data, uncovering hidden patterns and correlations that would escape even the most meticulous human analyst or seasoned board room veteran. More Than Data: Weaving Ethics & Transparency into the Fabric of AI
While the benefits are undeniable, the integration of AI requires careful consideration. Ethical implications, potential biases in algorithms, and the need for transparent explainability are crucial hurdles to address. From there within the Board's I operate in, we firstly must agree the definition of what AI is for us. Then we seek to find a baseline level of understanding whereby ALL board members must not only understand AI's capabilities but also its limitations, ensuring fair and responsible implementation.
