Reich Web Consulting: Bigger, Better, Faster, Stronger!

Hi! I'm Brian Reich. You may know me from such projects as building your organization's website, custom WordPress extensions, or manufacturing automation API.

(Then again, we could just be random LinkedIn associations. In which case please stop spamming me, scumbag!)

I recently updated my employment history on LinkedIn to reflect the position I just accepted at another company. As you know, I'm usually not a complete moron, so when I clicked "Update" I was aware you might have questions. I could have been quicker on the draw with answers, but here they are.

Nothing That Matters is Changing

Reich Web Consulting isn't going anywhere. We're still here, and we have no intentions of bailing on any of our loyal customers any time soon. We still plan to provide the same services, at the same price, at the same level of quality, reliability, and promptness that you've come to expect.

The only thing changing is the person on the other end of the call or email.

Building Something Bigger Than Myself

In the words of so many ex girlfriends, "it's not you: it's me."

I put a lot of blood, sweat, and tears into building a business from nothing into something pretty impressive in a few short years. But that business was built on me, my labor, and my personal reputation with my clients. It bears my namesake. Until recently, an illustrated version of my face was the logo. Egotistical much, Brian?

A business model built around your own availability to do work stunts your growth and limits your opportunities. I hired an employee a few months ago, but still largely ran everything myself. Faced with the birth of my second child I had to also face a stark reality: I was burnt out, and my family deserved better.

Recently an opportunity landed on my doorstep. The opportunity was just too good and too interesting to pass up. So after some careful consideration, I decided to accept a position at The Core Solution, and promote my employee to manage the day-to-day operations of Reich Web Consulting.

So far, I think he's knocking it out of the park.

But at the end of the day the buck stops with me. We're still here. I'm still here. And I hope Reich Web Consulting can remain a valued partner in your organization for many years to come.
