For the month of September there were approximately 87 new Regulatory positions posted at smaller biopharma companies in the US. This is down 5% from August but up 30% from September 2023.?
56% of these new positions in September were in Clinical Regulatory Strategy and 27% were in CMC Regulatory, 10% were in Advertising, Promotions & Labeling, and 8% in Regulatory Operations.? Roughly 46% of these roles were at Director level and above. There were six new Regulatory VP/SVP positions posted in September.??
28% of all new Regulatory roles in September were posted as Remote and 20% were Hybrid (remote/onsite).? 33% of the September Regulatory positions were in California, 34% were in Massachusetts, and 17% were in the NJ/NY/PA area.?
There were layoffs announced at 11 biotech and pharma companies in September.
