This is our Regulatory Landscape newsletter for February 2025 with our monthly insights on the evolving market for Regulatory professionals.???

For the month of January there were approximately 81 new Regulatory positions posted at smaller biopharma companies in the US. This is up 92% from December but essentially flat from what we saw in January 2024.?

58% of these new positions in January were in Clinical Regulatory Strategy and 25% were in CMC Regulatory, 10% were in Advertising, Promotions & Labeling, and 9% in Regulatory Operations.? Roughly 50% of these roles were at Director level and above. There were only four new Regulatory VP/SVP positions posted in January.??

48% of the new Regulatory positions in January were listed as “Onsite”, 33% were posted as Remote and 16% were Hybrid (remote/onsite).? 30% of the January Regulatory positions were in California, 42% were in Massachusetts, and 16% were in the NJ/NY/PA area.?

There were layoffs announced at 19 biotech and pharma companies in January.

• Regulatory Affairs Sr Director or Exec Director – Rare Disease (Remote but East Coast preferred)
