Registration open to participate in the Barcelona Festival of Song 2020.

Today Spanish is the second language with more speakers in the world. In the US the Hispanics are 17.6% of the population, more than 56.6 million people. However, the curricula of music institutions don′t reflect this diversity.

To do so, voice teachers and students need to learn about the repertoire, and the composers of Spain and Latin America. They also need to know how to access and perform this music.

You can learn all of that at the  Barcelona Festival of Song, a summer program devoted to studying the history and interpretation of the art song repertoire in Spanish, Portuguese and Catalan that arrives at its 16th year in 2020.
