BIO Girls Gala
The countdown is on! Less than 2 months from our 6th Annual Gala presented by Crown Jewels.
An impactful evening to witness the region-wide impact of the BIO Girls program and an opportunity to support the year to come. All while having some fun!
We'd love to see you [and your crew] there on Thursday, October 10th. Semi-formal, 21+ event.
2025 Programs
Time for a little time travel. Did you know? BIO Girls began as ONE program location in Fargo in 2013. Fast forward to today, we are headed into our 13th season of BIO Girls across the Midwest with over 100 program locations!!!
Crazy, right?
And it's a pretty special time as we kick off announcing our new & returning BIO Girls programs across the Midwest.
So without further ado, checkout the awesome communities hosting a BIO Girl's program next year in their neck of the woods! And don't worry, more communities to come!!
Volunteer Highlight: Meet Kristina!
Kristina Hokenson has been a BIO Girls advocate in her community of Minot for years. Seven to be exact, as she brough the programming to Minot initially. Now, she shares the experience with her very own daughter and BIO Girl Nora.
Recently, the Minot Daily News featured Kristina's experience. And to say we're thankful for the effort, time and love Kristina's poured into our program would be an understatement.
“What we’ve noticed as the girls go through the program is they develop more confidence and better movement from working towards a goal. Running isn’t everyone’s favorite by any means. But being able to still accomplish a goal together is huge,” Hokenson said. “The girls are also learning how to support each other, which is so cool. They cheer each other on, help each other and learn how to celebrate somebody else and be excited for them.”
