- MSc. José Manuel Baena, research associate "Advanced therapies: differentiation, regeneration and cancer" IBIMER,CIBM, Universidad de Granada. Founder of BRECA Health Care, pioneer in 3D printed custom made implants for orthopedic surgery, and REGEMAT 3D, the first Spanish bio-printing company. Expert in innovation, business development and internationalization, lecturer in some business schools, he is passionate about biomedicine and technology. In his free time he is also researcher at the Biopathology and Regenerative Medicine Institute (IBIMER).
- Morgan Pile, Executive Vice President of Sales and Product Development, Advanced Medical Pricing Solutions. Morgan graduated from Stetson University with a Bachelor in Finance as a merit scholar and has over fifteen years of experience consulting in the employer benefits industry. Morgan is a Certified Enrollment Specialist, and a Cluster Benefits Disability Specialist. Currently, Mr. Pile is stopping fraud, waste and abuse in the healthcare system, and has built medical travel programs for his Healthcare Risk Management clients. He is focused on being proactive, actively managing risk and providing innovative, cutting edge solutions for large self-funded employers. Morgan has experience working with employers, consultants, associations, and health care providers, by designing, implementing, and managing Domestic and International Network programs, PBM Management Reviews, Hospital Bill Compliance Reviews, Population Health management, and Medical Tourism to help take control of rising health care costs. Morgan meets with very large self-funded employers to determine the strategy for the benefit plan design, then builds and negotiates on behalf of the client

- Dr. Shane Morita was born and raised in Hilo on the island of Hawaii and currently is as an Endocrine and Oncologic Surgeon in Honolulu. He is a member of the Society of Surgical Oncology, American Society of Clinical Oncology, American Association of Endocrine Surgeons, American Association for Cancer Research and American College of Surgeons. He is the Surgical Oncology Program Director at The Queen’s Medical Center/Queen’s Cancer Center and serves as clinical faculty for the John A. Burns School of Medicine (JABSOM) as well as the University of Hawaii Cancer Center. Dr. Morita is the incoming Chair for the State of Hawaii Comprehensive Cancer Control Coalition and active board member for the American Cancer Society Hawaii-Pacific chapter
- Kim Ku‘ulei Birnie, Papa Ola Lōkahi - Papa Ola Lōkahi is the Native Hawaiian Health Board, a consortium of agencies and providers charged with improving the health status of Native Hawaiians and their families. It does so through policy and building capacity in research, workforce development, healing traditions, and improving access to health care and related enabling services. Ms. Kim Ku‘ulei Birnie, who has worked in Hawaiian health for more than 20 years, will provide an overview of Native Hawaiian health policy and access to care.
- Ira D. Zunin, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A. earned his medical degree from UCLA School of Medicine and is board certified in Preventive Medicine. He holds Master’s Degrees in Business Administration and in Public Health. He has served as Assistant Clinical Professor at the School of Public Health and in the Department of Complementary and Alternative Medicine at the University of Hawaii School of Medicine. Dr. Zunin is the founding president and for ten years led the Hawaii State Consortium for Integrative Health Care established to support conferences, research, and business and legal solutions through a collaborative effort among major health care stakeholders. He was appointed by Governor Cayatano to the Hawaii State Board of Acupuncture.
