Regardless of what the future holds...

There was a time when we were so small we could all fit into the same shoes.

And then we grew into shoes that fit for no one other than ourselves, for better or worse.

Some of what we do in these grown up shoes is more predictable than we’d like, captured by political polls and algorithms and the people who know us too well.

So much so that we wonder if there is anything special about us.

But some of what we do is so unpredictable that no one could have guessed, neither AI nor human, nor it seems, even God.

'When Jesus heard this, he was amazed. Turning to the crowd who were following him, he said, “I tell you, I haven’t seen faith like this in all Israel!”' Luke 7:9

May faith fill the shoes we walk in regardless of what the future holds...
