One thing that has been consistent throughout my life is the expectation of the worst whenever something good happens. Certain early childhood events left me traumatized, shaping my belief that happiness would always be short-lived. My mind defaulted to the worst-case scenario, and I often could not truly embrace joy without anticipating its abrupt end.
As I committed to healing from both childhood traumas and adult issues, I uncovered new areas that demanded my attention. Recently, I encountered two specific challenges on this healing journey.
If you struggle with similar default reactions and want guidance on working through them, schedule a discovery call with me today. Together, we can explore your behaviours' root causes and create a plan to manage these challenges effectively for lasting healing and growth.

4 个月I am my first client, so everything I suggest to others I first had to do myself. For example, I have been an avid overthinker with trust issues and who expects something to always go wrong. I have had to put in WORK to address the root causes of those default responses, and even more WORK to replace them with other thought and behavioural patterns. Like my clients, I am not perfect, but we are working towards healing from trauma responses that once protected us but could not sabotage our progress. We need something new for the next level of our lives.
