Reflections on a Remarkable Year and Excitement for the Future.
An Year-End Update from KOKAI's CEO, Oskar Kristiansen
As the year draws to a close, we find ourselves in its final month, with the holidays just around the corner. For many in the IT industry, the peace of Christmas feels far away, as the fall and the weeks leading up to the holidays are often the busiest time of the year. At KOKAI, we’re working tirelessly to complete all our planned tasks before taking a well-deserved break. Yet December also offers a valuable opportunity for reflection on the year that’s coming to an end.
This has been a year of significant global conflict and challenges, though I’ll leave the broader commentary to others. In the technology industry, however, it’s clear we’ve experienced a transformative year. Many have recognised that we are once again on the verge of a technological paradigm shift—one that will shape and affect businesses and individuals alike.
As we reflect on a transformative year, it’s clear that we are on the verge of a technological paradigm shift, one that will shape both businesses and individuals alike
For KOKAI, 2024 has been another record-breaking year. We’ve welcomed many new clients, employees, and partners, delivered an impressive array of projects worldwide, and built a record-high order backlog as we head into the new year. Yet what stands out most for us is our unwavering focus on competence development and training.
In times of significant technological change, expertise becomes critical for businesses seeking to harness new technologies effectively. As a Microsoft partner, KOKAI is closely aligned with the technology they deliver. Traditionally, KOKAI has focused primarily on solutions within what is often referred to as Financial, Planning & Analysis (FP&A), and we will, of course, continue to do so, as this is part of our company's?DNA.
At KOKAI, our mission remains clear: to help our clients enhance performance and achieve their strategic goals, a commitment that will only grow stronger in the year ahead.
In addition to this, over the past year, we have made a significant effort to build expert-level competence in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and other Microsoft technologies. We are certifying our experts, developing training concepts to offer our clients and partners, and launching various initiatives for technology-interested clients, partners, and other connections. These include our LinkedIn newsletter and podcast (available on Spotify), both titled KOKAI Insights,?as well as our recently launched partner portal—a dedicated resource for our Aimplan partners.
At KOKAI, our mission remains clear: to help our clients enhance performance and achieve their strategic goals. This commitment will only grow stronger as we step into the new year.
To our clients, partners, and collaborators, we extend our heartfelt thanks for your trust and support throughout this past year.
We wish you a peaceful holiday season and, when the time comes, a very Merry Christmas. We eagerly look forward to the opportunities and successes that lie ahead in the coming year!
