Reflections on Our First Creative Gathering

I'm thrilled to share that this past weekend, I hosted my first in-person event! It was a wonderful experience, and I am deeply grateful to the four lovely ladies who supported me in this milestone.

This event was designed to help participants unwind, express gratitude, and connect with others in a supportive environment. Whether you're new to weaving or an experienced crafter, the activity brought joy and relaxation to everyone involved.

Lessons Learned

• Contact is Key: It took several tries to get confirmation from attendees. Clear and consistent communication is essential.
• Always Have a Backup Plan: ?Flexibility is crucial. For instance, my dog had an accident on the cardboard I planned to use, so improvisation was necessary!
• Don't Forget to Take Pictures: Capturing moments is important for memories and sharing the experience with others.

Overall Experience

Everyone had a great time and expressed interest in participating again. The event was a success, providing a relaxing and enjoyable creative outlet for all.
