Reflections on LCNI 2018

  1. We’d like to thank everyone who came to see us at LCNI and joining in experiencing the latest EVs. A number of attendees had only seen them on the streets of the UK prior to the event. We have enabled the industry to more closely understand EVs through an immersive driving experience.
  2. We want everyone to be as passionate about the decarbonisation of transport as we are. The UK faces a number of real tangible electrical infrastructure challenges, as well as market obstacles. We are confident that by working together the industry will be able to solve these and enable the EV future.
  3. Innovation is too often incremental and not transformative – and this matches the conservative nature of the industry and what we witness annually at LCNI. We are keen to enable fresh ideas to be brought forward, facilitating those that can quickly make a positive impact on outcomes for the UK.
  4. It was great to see some of our young engineers engaging in industry debate and creating new relationships and friendships. DSO is the future and our engineers are driving the discussion forward for their future.
