Reflections....

Happy New Year 2020! We could deliver stellar growth last year in our unit, thanks to meticulous planning & relentless execution. Sharing some of the reflections here -

1. Had aspirational goals –Aimed for aspirational goals and meticulously planned milestones for each quarter to achieve the goals.
2. Written it down & displayed for everyone to see – Made the team believe in these goals through small wins and thus built trust. This had given a headstart.
3. Defined Strategies – Enumerated all possible strategies and chose the realistic ones. Created a clear plan for interim milestones with activities, owners and timelines. 
4. Executed relentlessly. Had metrics driven governance.
5. Confided in Mentor & Leader – Had the strategy and execution plan reviewed by mentor & leader. This is extremely crucial since it takes a lot effort to retract from a wrong strategy / execution.
6. Re-calibrated, as needed – Recalibrated without any emotional attachment to the original detailed plan. Proactive change management is the key.
7. Celebrated success together – Communicated & celebrated small successes. Team bonding is key and nothing is better than celebrating the successes together at that moment and recognizing the achievers.
