“A Peek Into France”

Unhurried thoughts occasionally drift on the positive encounters during university age days studying throughout France envisioning scenes that were enticed and relished with sweet inner exuberance of the enchanting year. Among many remarkable historical reflections that remain with impressive awe have been famous chateaux, the C?te d'Azur and cities around Paris.

Traveling by Eurail Pass was epic to observe the diverse cultures, authentic villages, iconic fortresses and gain real-life exposures to last a lifetime. Blissful joys were an amazement every day in charming regions and adventures especially the overnight chugging train lodging from Paris to Nice, France.

Breathtaking Chateau de Chenonceau was completed in 1522 that represents the graceful style of Queen Catherine de' Medici and hunted animal taxidermy trophies of King Henry II mounted from waxed floors to heavenly high ceilings. Amazing past sagas of Kings and Queens thrive in this French Renaissance castle arching over the Cher River spanning to the small communities of Chenonceaux, Indre-et-Loire, Centre-Val de Loire of the Loire Valley in France.?

This prestigious granite rock Abbey in Normandy, France stands exemplary strong since the Middle Ages. Mont Saint-Michel is known for a massive number of medieval manuscripts produced and stored on this tidal island and has been a dwelling for monks and nuns to worship and pray for centuries. Over a mile walk from the parking lot is a steep winding town street lined with museums, restaurants, hotels and shops. To reach the final destination Abbey is a monumental thinly gated external concrete staircase of 350 narrow steps. The grand hike up each stride is worth every marveled view of splendor to stop, rest and imagine.

Distinctive ocean front buildings, harbors and highway curves identify Nice, France with its pebbled beaches and world class yachts along the elegant C?te d'Azur.

Quaint adorable sight, minutes from the C?te d'Azur in Nice, France where home became home for an extensive part of that memorable year.

A simple routine was nibbling delectable cheeses, crepes and morsels of baguettes on a wooden rod iron bench nestled next to the grey colored beach harbor of the Mediterranean Sea.

Perched pigeons anxiously waited to steal daily meals in the crowded local beach park.

Relaxing strolls ignited the instinct to buy affordable gorgeous array of scented flowers quirkily displayed on old uneven cobbled streets.

Exploring the world with curiosity brings glorious experiences to hold dear and genuine for a life span that can always be tucked away inside or relied upon as knowledge with beautiful recollections.
