Reflections on Innovation Intelligence

Here I am writing at the Big Data LDN 2023 event in September 2023, which seems an auspicious place to start this newsletter.

The event really mirrors my intention of bringing together folks and topics around how we apply technology, algorithms, data, expertise and intuition to achieve meaningful innovation and better outcomes for the world! Lots of interesting discussions at the event. More on that later.

A quick plug for the event. RELX and our businesses are proud to be sponsoring and exhibiting at?Big Data London?(#BigDataLDN), an RX event, on September 20-21, 2023, held at Olympia in London. Upcoming

In the coming months this newsletter will be looking at the developments related to Elsevier Innovation Intelligence specifically; and at the same time will focus broadly on the wider sense of Reflecting on Innovation Intelligence. That is how we apply various technologies and capabilities variously described as 'intelligent' to achieve Innovation.

Reflection has the sense of both thinking about a topic, and also mirroring it and bringing it to your attention. This newsletter will be doing just that. The articles and posts will be tagged #ReflectionsOnInnovationIntelligence and #ElsevierInnovationIntelligence

I will start by reposting a recent article that I wrote to highlight : Elsevier Innovation Intelligence.

We are Elsevier’s Innovation Intelligence

Who do we work with, and what do they gain?

In essence, we are focussed on those R&D intensive companies who need to ensure that business-critical decisions are based on information that is reliable and actionable. Watch the video, here: video

What is so special about Elsevier Innovation Intelligence does?

?The way in which we respond to our customers’ needs, is arguably unique. We combine expertise in both the subject-matter of an area and data science required to enable the insights that drive innovation forward.
