Recently, I had the privilege of attending the Cedarville University Impact Christian Professionals Conference, an event that brought together a diverse group of professionals united by a common goal: to integrate faith and work in meaningful ways. This conference was not just an opportunity to network, but also a chance to reflect on our roles as Christian professionals in today’s ever-evolving workplace.
?
Keynote Speakers: Inspiration and Wisdom
The keynote speaker sessions were particularly impactful, from the President of Cedarville University to Earl Seals and even video appearance from Dallas Jenkins. These speakers shared their journeys of faith in the workplace, and at the university emphasizing the importance of maintaining integrity, purpose, and compassion in all professional endeavors. Their stories reminded us that our work is not just about achieving success but also about serving others and glorifying God through our actions.
?
Networking & Community
One of the most valuable aspects of the conference was the opportunity to connect with like-minded individuals. The networking sessions allowed us to share experiences, challenges, and successes, fostering a sense of community among Christian professionals. It was encouraging to see how many of us are navigating similar paths and striving to make a positive impact in our respective business communities.
?
Embracing the Call to Impact
As I left the conference, I was filled with renewed energy and purpose. The discussions reinforced the idea that our work is a calling. We are to be disciples in the workplace. We should acknowledge we have a platform to influence others.
?I take this responsibility very serious. I’m accustomed to saying “I work for Him”, I don’t work for any other man (or woman).
?I believe whether in business, education, healthcare, or any other field, we are all called to be ambassadors of our faith.
