Reflections #12
Hey all, job hunting left me in a wave of alternating emotions of confidence, despair, bravery, desolate and intelligence. What a way to live huh ???
I tried my best in going through this process with a clear head and a strong heart. But man this tore me. I have immense respect to the stability in our lives. I have become incredibly grateful for all the small things I used to enjoy earlier. A lot of it is my own doing, I recognise. But it is tough to cheer yourself up time and again while I also refuse to take help from my friends.
I also had the audacity to give free gyaan to someone saying ‘Life’s hard; it doesn’t owe you anything. Keep doing work you love or try to love the work you are doing’. While this gyaan was absolutely bang-on (if I may say so ?? ) , I absolutely failed in imbibing this for myself. But I’m trying to learn this slowly day-by-day.
Thats enough self deprecation for this edition.
Onto some things I enjoyed in these two weeks in a photo essay
I have been binge watching Master Chef Australia and I can cockily say that I make better dosas than Sashi (winner of MasterChef season 10) who got eliminated with dosas (here)

Bangalore has been incredibly gorgeous with its downpours if you stay inside and enjoy it (not if you get caught on the ORR admist the floods)
I went to the Indian Music Museum in Bangalore and was amazed by this Kavad box (here)
Thats it for this week, folks!
I have a fun recco this week. If you grew up watching 90s rom/antic Tamil movies, I would highly suggest you to watch the Kadhal Enbadhu Kannula Heart Irukura Emoji‘ for its mildly sarcastic take on the ridiculous Tamil cinema love tropes. For people who are new to the Tamil movie world, I suggest ‘Ninaivo Oru Paravai’ from the same anthology for this psychological romantic take with its interesting visuals.
See you soon again ???
