Is it so important to know what others will think about you,

that you forgot to know what you think about yourself?

Is it so important to know what others will say about you,

that you forgot to find what you have to say about yourself?

Is it so important to have something in common with others,

that you forgot to find something uncommon about you?

Is it so important to have others’ approval of who you are,

that you forgot to find about what you have approved of?

Is it so important to be acceptable by others,

that you forgot to accept the person you are becoming?

Is it so important to follow the norms others’ made,

that you forgot to make your own rules?

Is it so important to admire others’ life phases,

that you forgot to appreciate the path your life is taking?
