To protect important wildlife corridors, and to build a stronger network of parks, trails, and open spaces. To create an overall “Greener” city to enhance our neighborhoods and support a growing city. GOALS ? Identify and elevate public awareness of the unique natural and ecological resources that define Fayette County. ? Create a comprehensive plan for a usable, connected system of parks, trails and green spaces. ? Ensure good stewardship and maintenance of all greenways.
