Deceptive looks

One sunday morning my daughter and me decide to take a stroll on the beach near my house. We loved to walk in the rain and enjoy the rain drops on our face. Just then my daughter saw a simple dressed man been greeted by every one who came to walk on the beach with a lot of respect. She immediately passed a comment "ma whats so special in this man do you know him?". I did know him as had seen him help many people in the past. So I said "ya he is a very nice person keeps helping anyone who needed help". My daughter said ma no one helps for free. You are very innocent any one can take advantage of you. While she was still talking a football came and hit my head and I fell very badly. The young kids who were playing immediately apologised but the damage was done. Many people came some to help & some just to see few helped my daughter to put me on the side and left. My daughter didnt know what to do and then she saw this man again. She went running to him and asked help. He immediately got his car a bmw suv (my daughter was shocked) and got us home. He even called the doc as i was bleeding and took care of everything. My daughter very sweetly thanked & apologized to him and told him what she had thought about him. After a few days when I had recovered completely my daughter told me about how incorrect she was about the man. I smiled and?decided to tell her a story. Once a man was exploring caves by the seashore. In one of the caves he found a canvas bag with a bunch of hardened clay balls. It was like someone had rolled clay balls and left them out in the sun to bake. They didn't look like much, but they intrigued the man, so he took the bag out of the cave with him. As he strolled along the beach, he would throw the clay balls one at a time out into the ocean as far as he could. He thought little about it, until he dropped one of the clay balls and it cracked open on a rock. Inside was a beautiful, precious stone! Excited, the man started breaking open the remaining clay balls. Each contained a similar treasure. He found thousands of dollars worth of jewels in the 20 or so clay balls he had left. Then it struck him. He had been on the beach a long time. He had thrown maybe 50 or 60 of the clay balls with their hidden treasure into the ocean waves. Instead of thousands of dollars in treasure, he could have taken home tens of thousands, but he had just thrown it away!

Reflect in life and how often do we see the external clay vessel, it isn't always beautiful or sparkling, so we discount it. However when we take the time to find the treasure hidden inside that person we realise the value. Remember there is a treasure in each and every one of us only if we take the time to get to know that person the clay will start peeling away and the brilliant gem will begin to shine I agree that the toughest thing in life is to let go of something we thought was real

The irony of life is photography deals exquisitely with appearances, but nothing is what it appears to be. Lets go ahead in life and not come to the end of our lives to find that we have thrown away a fortune in friendship, relationship just because the gems were hidden in bits of clay.
