Reflection, Change, and Hope

Reflection, Change, and Hope

As I reflect on the past year, the impact of our collective efforts becomes abundantly clear. Your resilience and determination is evident. Together, we've woven a narrative of hope, empathy, and dedication, rooted in love. We are shaping future communities where aspirations intersect with meaningful change.

?

I am excited to announce that the St. Joseph Community Partnership Fund is simplifying its name, not its mission. The St. Joseph Fund (SJF) will continue to be Providence's grantmaking foundation, investing in and fostering long-term partnerships to ensure communities are lively, hopeful, healthy, and just.

?

2023 was a great year for SJF. We met in person with our partners, board members, and Providence executives for the first time since before the pandemic. Together, we celebrated community power and ?our partners’ successes. And, we learned how to better invest in their efforts. We also launched the Community Healing and Resilience Initiative. The initiative examines how staff, organizational, and community healing contribute to nonprofits. In its inaugural year, we hope to build a framework for capturing the impact of the power of community connectedness and healing that many in the industry are up against.

?

Looking towards the new year, we remain focused on building community in four key areas: disaster response and resilience, lifelong education that opens doors, positive change through community power, and community healing and resilience. With your ongoing support, we will continue to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead, striving to make healthcare more accessible and equitable for all.

?

Thank you for being an indispensable part of our commitment to serve the dear neighbor, building healthier communities rooted in love..

Thank you for the update! Such great work is being done ??

The new name is beautiful and continues to be a reflection of your mission and values. The St. Joseph Fund is a most inspiring funder and I can't wait to see what you all do this year. ??
