Reflection 2024, an year passed -THANK YOU!!!

As year 2024 comes to closure: I would like to share some incremental value add worth mentioning and sharing to my well-wishers in broader professional world. It is my pleasure to share that I have invested year 2024 on an executive program of prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow names as "Chief Executive Officer” and pleased to have completed it. The tentativeness to get in to classroom sessions and committing for 3.5 hours of weekly classes over weekend and also various prep and post class work did make me think endless time before I enrolled for the program.

Overall believing in doing another Executive program after a gap of 14 years. I did that from Graduate School of Business (GSB Stanford) in 2010 – thanks to Information Mosaic (Now part of S&P) and my line manager and CEO John Byrne for instilling and pushing me to achieve the course: "Executive Program for Growing Companies"

Pushing myself harder on the continuous learning journey this course gave me a chance to refresh, unlearn and learn aspects of varied leadership topics and styles. Starting from interpreting Financial Statements to Valuations to Corporate Strategy, Governance & Operations, People Management, Marketing, Sustainability, Design Thinking, Digital transformation and adopting and delivering Digital Strategy. The highlight for me further have been

• Capstone project which gave us a chance to cover the practical example of how to define the successful Journey on Digital transformation for an education institution. Thanks to my group ( Onkar Bagaria , Murthy Vakkalanka Sunil Sharma Phanimithra Gangalakurthi Orindam Sen Nitin Gupta Dayananda S Rajesh Kumar Singh Priyanko
• Capsim kept us going (Awesome and hats off to Veer Mehta ). ?The one that we did as simulation for 8 weeks gave us the adrenaline rush of running a huge business enterprise in real time!!! Thanks to Phanimithra Gangalakurthi & Onkar Bagaria – you were the best and kept us going.
• Balance Score Card Simulation has further strengthened the simplified but very impactful data driven approach so much needed in todays every evolving Big data world. Thanks Neeraj Dwivedi

ü? Indeed, varied self-evaluation and reflection of what I am Vs to what I could perceive has helped further to strengthen myself including reviewing the varied leadership styles Tiger, Chameleon, Turtle, Eagle and Salmon within myself ( thanks to insightful sessions of Prof Archana Shukla )

One of the biggest attraction was to be part of 4-day immersion in the campus. A refresh of campus life and indeed moving from virtual to actual sessions with 70+ most intellectual batchmates. Every moment was learning and sharing. We formulated an exceptional cohort, each member bringing enriching experiences and expertise from diverse fields. The classes starting at 9.30 am, the chai breaks, luncheons and the post lunch classes…a bonfire cultural evening and a Lucknow City Tour : ending with a Valedictory function! The planning and execution were immaculate! 4 days flew by in a jiffy! Great Support from Gayathri Devi Jayan Prem Chaurasia SPSM? Shashikant Mundlik for being active in the core team - Thank you.
