Reflecting on a year of growth and progress

Since we founded Verse, I can’t recall a period with more remarkable growth and progress than we have experienced in the last year.? 2021 was a standout year, from our business growth to the innovations we brought to market and new horizons we embarked on.? As we begin a new year, I’m overwhelmed with excitement about all that we’ve planned ahead, while also grateful and humbled by the progress and momentum we made together as a company this past year.

First, we expanded our incredible client base, adding industry leading partners across home services, real estate, mortgage, healthcare, insurance, education ad beyond.? We have diversified so much, in fact, that the real estate market, which was the only market we were serving just a couple years ago, now makes up less than a quarter of our client base.

At the same time, I am equally proud that we’ve achieved phenomenal NPS scores, showing that our customers love our service and continue to recommend us.? Verse received dozens of new recognitions last year from G2Crowd and Capterra, including “Users Love Us”, "Best ROI", “Easiest to Use”, and “High Performer” awards, and 35 new five-star reviews from our partners.

We have also continued to innovate the Verse platform to help our partners better engage and convert leads into customers, set appointments, and drive live transfers.? And at the same time, we have stayed ahead of the regulatory changes, leading the way with our release of TrustContact, our proprietary set of solutions that ensure the highest SMS message delivery rates at scale for businesses and customers, fully compliant, and extremely efficient.??

Ultimately, we owe all of our success to our incredible team members who work so hard, and are so passionate about helping our clients succeed. Last year alone, we grew our team by 53%, and Verse team members now span across 20 states and have fully embraced our remote first culture!???

Avi and I are so proud and honored to be leading this team and grateful for how much we’ve grown as a company, all while holding true to our core values.? The world’s most innovative sales and marketing teams continue to validate our unique mission of helping business win by creating the most authentic and efficient connections for businesses and their customers at scale through conversational texting. With tremendous tailwinds behind us and a host of innovations coming out in the months ahead, we are in a stronger position than ever to further our mission into 2022 and beyond.
